Work

Peter Renshaw, Entrepreneur, Software developer, technical writer. Move along nothing interesting. Move along unless your interested in software and the software development process.

... Living only on take-out and
 caffeine. Working in a [small]
 living room. Crazy, stupid,
 unprofessional behavior. Wearing
 nothing but shorts and ripped
 t-shirts. ... [Paul Graham]

In product development stealth mode for a small startup. Worked for numerous software and Internet companies some of which even survive today :) Been logged on, reading & working on the Internet long enough to remember it pre WWW.

My First Experience with Open Source

Logging onto school account and downloading source code using FTP from ftp.oak.edu while listening to faculty staff discussing how it was impossible. Using Mozilla for the first time in early '94 and comparing it to Gopher.

What I Like Most about Open Source

Freedom to read & change, compile code.

What I Dislike About Open Source

100 apps that do the same thing all fighting it out for top placing. Sparce, conflicting and incorrect documentation.
